Be with Jesus through practicing spiritual disciplines such as prayer, bible study and fasting. Find your rest in Him.

By putting these disciplines into your life you will grow closer to a good, great, glorious and gracious God in Jesus Christ. So it’s simple, start by being with Jesus and your BEING will fuel and transform your DOING, the living out the rest of His commands to Forgive, Serve, Give & Go.

What He does TO us He desires to do THROUGH us. With us growing in these areas you’ll grow closer to Jesus, AND to one another. His character will rub off on us as we walk by faith. His Spirit will fill us more and more. The good fruit you desire will be more and more evident in your life. And all this will happen while living into your God-given purpose. This is why you were created! Loving and following Jesus by loving and sacrificially serving your neighbors– especially the most vulnerable. Sharing the good news of the Gospel with your words and demonstrating its power with your deeds. This is how we reflect His glory throughout the world!

This is simple but not easy. It takes effort. Not earning (He paid it all on a Roman cross) but effort is required. Working out your salvation with fear and trembling. Both by yourself and with others. Following the narrow path of Jesus requires effort, sacrifice and suffering.

How are we going to multiply disciples at Buck Creek? Through our Disciple-Making Pathway: Be, Forgive, Serve, Give & Go.

Our leaders commit to helping you find and follow Jesus in each of these five areas. We desire to equip you to find your identity in Christ, to forgive one another, to serve both in the church and within our city, to sacrificially give of your time, talent and treasure and we want to help you go through unleashing your God-given gifts wherever you live, work, learn or play.

Multiplying Disciples

City Groups

Small groups who meet regularly in homes and other spaces, break bread, pray, learn, grow and sacrificially serve their “people, place or pain”. We are even launching a City Group specifically for youth!

Discovery Bible Study

A Contact4Impact Team joins Jesus in the mission of making disciples in their circle of influence by pursuing these 4 priorities: PRAYER > CARE > SHARE > DARE. The primary tool is the use of a Discovery Bible Study.

Tools

Prayer, bible, fasting are the main three spiritual disciplines used by believers for millennia. Our prayer team will help you pray. Our staff will help you understand and apply the scriptures. Through guides, workshops, bible studies, book studies, "Root to Fruit", the "Four G’s" and "PPP" you can engage God’s word with confidence.

Sunday Morning Gathered Worship:

Sundays we hear the Gospel proclaimed, sung, prayed and this liturgy (Creation, Fall, Redemption, Reconciliation) propels us out as missionaries to wherever we live, work, learn or play.

Multiplying Leaders & Churches

Multiplying Leaders

  • We partner with Plant 616 to grow leaders for the church. The Rising Leaders Cohort and other learning platforms are designed to move you from where you are to where God is calling you. Whether you just want to be a better leader where you live, work, learn or play or you want to plant, replant or pastor a church, this is for you!
  • Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program aimed at helping you with your hurts, habits and hangups. It’s also a fantastic leadership development program.

Multiplying Churches:

  • We desire to replicate what happened in launching Buck Creek Church: Mergers and replants.
  • We train up and host residents who will lead new churches, replants, groups and missional endeavors.
  • We support other churches and planters to see Jesus made famous on every block.

*More services? We love church gatherings but we start with evangelism and disciple-making and those will lead to people worshiping Jesus. A church service is a key part of the multiplication of disciples, leaders, groups and churches but the “front door” should be everyday disciples of Jesus reaching the people God has placed around us where we live, work, learn and play.
